Book Online

  1. Identity of Parties: For the purposes of this Hire Agreement Laser Tag In A Box shall mean the Owners, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, contractors, agents of Laser Tag In A Box and the Hirer shall mean the customer, the person(s) or company booking this hire as well as the person who ticked the box on the online booking system to acknowledge and confirm agreement to these terms and their agent's and/or employees.
  2. Additional Terms and Conditions: In consideration of the hiring of the Rental Equipment described in this Hire Agreement and in addition to all the terms and conditions set forth on the previous page of this agreement, the parties do further agree as follows.
  3. The Hirer agrees to pick up the equipment from our depot at Unit 128 Culham No1 Site, Oxfordshire, OX14 3DA the day before the hire on the commencement of this hire agreement (unless alternative arrangements have been agreed to in writing with the Owners or delivery via courier has been selected). The same method is to be applied at the conclusion of this hire agreement for the return to the Owners of the hired equipment.  The return of the equipment is due back on the next working day after the period of hire booked. If the Hirer requires delivery services by UK Mail, delivery and pick up times are approximate. The additional cost of this transport service is to be paid online by the hirer when booking. The Hirer is responsible for, and is required to stay with the equipment until picked up by the transport service. Otherwise, the hirer is required to return all equipment to the Owner’s depot.  . Please note Laser Tag In A Box is not open on public holidays.
  4. Safety/Operating Instructions: In addition to the information set forth in this agreement, the Hirer acknowledges that there are safety and operating instructions for the equipment and agrees to read the instructions and operate the equipment, or allow the equipment to be operated or used in accordance with those instructions. The Hirer further acknowledges and understands that the Owner has not agreed to nor have they provided any other operators with this hired equipment, and that the Hirer is solely responsible for the correct and safe operation of the equipment. The Hirer understands that the participant’s safety depends on the Hirer providing at all times correct operation of and use of the equipment. By entering into this agreement the Hirer acknowledges that there is a risk of injury or damage arising out of the use of the equipment. The Hirer agrees to keep and maintain safety rules for the safe operation of the equipment and to assume any and all risk of injury or damage. In particular, the Hirer will not permit the equipment to be operated by anyone who has not received instruction from the Hirer on the safe operation and use of the equipment, nor shall the Hirer allow any person to use or operate the equipment when it is in need of repair or when it is in an unsafe condition or situation.
  5. Booking Procedure
    Bookings are made through our online booking system on our website at Once you have selected the date you wish to hire and the package you require, you can then select whether you would like to pick up directly from us from our depot in Oxford or you can select nationwide delivery direct to your door.  There is an additional charge for delivery of your hire.  Standard delivery is delivered by DPD between 8am and 6pm and the delivery must be signed for.  You can upgrade your delivery to a pre 9am or pre 12pm premium delivery for an additional cost.   For security reasons we can only deliver the hire equipment to the registered card holders address that was used for the booking or the address that was detailed and verified on paypal at the time of booking.  If you would like to have the equipment delivered to or collected from a work or business address, please see the additional terms and conditions that apply under heading 20.  During the booking process you will be asked to register your details on our bookings database.  Please then check our terms and conditions and once agreed, please proceed with the booking instructions on screen.  Once you have completed your booking and payment you will receive a confirmation email from us with all the details of your booking and the password for our dedicated organiser’s area where you can find party invites, missions, game ideas and instructional DVD’s. We recommend booking at least 6 weeks prior to your event date to avoid disappointment.   Please check you’re booking confirmation to ensure email addresses and delivery/pick up addresses and mobile telephone numbers are all correct.  If there are any mistakes please notify us immediately so we can make the necessary changes as we cannot be held responsible if the information provided is incorrect.
  6. Additional Terms and Conditions: In consideration of the hiring of the Rental Equipment described in this Hire Agreement and in addition to all the terms and conditions set forth on the previous page of this agreement, the parties do further agree as follows.
  7. Equipment, Rent, Hire, Payment, and Term of Hire Agreement: The Hirer (customer) hires (rents) from the Owners certain equipment described on the confirmation of booking sent via email on receipt payment via the online booking system.The hire fee set forth is payable, in full, in advance and the hire term shall be listed on the confirmation of booking, but all the Hirer's obligations arising under the terms and conditions of this Hire Agreement shall run from the actual delivery of the equipment to the actual return pick up of the equipment. The Hirer shall not be entitled to any refund whatsoever if the Hirer elects not to use the Equipment due to weather or any other causes during the hire period.Payment in due in full at the time of booking. We cannot ship your equipment without payment in full. Payment can be made through our online booking system by Paypal using all major credit and debit cards such as Visa debit, Visa, MasterCard or your PayPal account. For on the day bookings, payment must be processed and approved before release of the equipment.
  8. Weather: Laser Tag In A Box Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Hirer's rental prior to delivery (or pick up) if severe weather conditions are imminent or if the Owners have any reason to believe that the Equipment and/or it's users may be in danger. An example of this is severe snow storms and severe gales.The Hirer agrees that in the event that the weather turns to severe during use of the Equipment then the Hirer will cease using the Equipment until this severe weather ends. The Hirer will also take all precautions to secure the Equipment in an undercover, safe weatherproof area during severe or inclement weather.  The Hirer agrees not to use the equipment in weather conditions such as lightening, thunder and severe gales.
  9. Delivery: Laser Tag In A Box Ltd shall deliver the Equipment (If the delivery option has been selected on booking) to the registered cardholders address specified by the Hirer as listed on the confirmation of booking either by Interlink, a subcontracting courier, or any other form of delivery service. Standard delivery is delivered by UK Mail between 7.30am and 6pm and the delivery must be signed for.  You can upgrade your delivery to a pre 9am or pre 12pm premium delivery for an additional cost.  Please note; we accept no responsibility for late delivery if nobody is available to receive the equipment.  The Hirer may elect to pick up the Equipment to save on the additional delivery costs shown on website from one of the Owners depot(s). The Owners reserve the true right to enter any property that the Hirer has specified to deliver or pick up the Equipment and any associated Equipment or packing materials at the approximately specified times.  The hirer agrees that they are able to take delivery of the equipment on the delivery date outlined on their booking. The hirer agrees that the equipment will be ready to be collected by the courier in its original packing on the collection date detailed on their booking. The hirer agrees to pay any recollection charges should the courier have to be rebooked for either delivery or collection.
  10. Receipt/Inspection of Hire Equipment: The Equipment is available on an ‘as is' basis. The Hirer acknowledges that they have personally checked off and inspected the Equipment prior to it's use and will read the operating/safety instructions prior to use. The Hirer specifically agrees that the Equipment will not be used if the Hirer finds that it is not suitable for their needs.  The Hirer acknowledges receipt of all items listed on the confirmation of booking /packing slip/dispatch note, and that they are in good working order.  If any equipment is missing or not in good working order upon delivery please notify us immediately on 01865 410071 or 0799 9579583.
  11. Possession/Title: The Hirer's right to possession of the Equipment begins upon the Equipment being delivered to the Hirer's registered address (or upon pick up by the Hirer) and terminates on the actual pick up by the Owners (or agent) or return delivery by the Hirer to the Owners depot. Retention of possession, or any failure to permit the pick up of the Equipment at or after the end of the Hire Agreement Period specified on the confirmation of booking constitutes a material breach of this Agreement. In the event that the Equipment is not returned for any reason, including theft, the Hirer is obligated to pay Laser Tag In A Box Ltd the full replacement value for the Equipment listed on the confirmation of booking/packing slip/dispatch note, plus any and all incidental costs associated with the attempted pick up or recovery of the Equipment by the Owners.Title to and for all the Hire Equipment listed in the agreement is and shall remain the property of Laser Tag In A Box Ltd.  The Hirer agrees to keep the Equipment in his/her custody and control from the time the Equipment is delivered to the Hirer (or picked up by the Hirer) and until the Owners pick up the Equipment via courier at the specified date as detailed on your confirmation of booking (or delivered back to the Owners depot by the Hirer). The Hirer shall not cause nor permit any of the Equipment hired to them to be sublet, rented, hired, sold, or removed from the Delivery Address, or otherwise transfer such items. If the hired items are not returned and/or levied upon for any reason whatsoever, Laser Tag In A Box Ltd may retake possession of said items without further notice or legal process and use whatever force is reasonably necessary to do so. The Hirer hereby agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Laser Tag In A Box Ltd harmless from any and all claims and costs arising from such retaking and/or levy. If the Equipment is levied upon, or otherwise moved from the Delivery Address, the Hirer shall notify the Owners immediately.
  12. Care of Hire Equipment: The Hirer shall be responsible for any and all damage to any of the Hire Equipment not caused by ordinary wear and tear. Ordinary wear and tear shall mean only the normal deterioration of the Equipment caused by ordinary, reasonable and proper use of the Equipment. The Hirer shall be liable to the Owners of the Equipment for any and all damage that is not ordinary wear and tear in an amount equal to the replacement value of the hire equipment listed here. Damage which is not ordinary wear and tear includes but not limited to breakage, improper use, abuse, lack of cleaning, contamination or dirtying the Equipment with non-approved items such as solvents, chemicals, food, paint, mud, clay or other materials.
  13. Current Replacement Prices: Cobra Phaser £650.00, Red Dot Scope £45.00, Front phaser Sensor £8.50, Head Sensor £85.00, Headband £4.00, Bandanna £4.00, Electronics Replacement (do not submerge in water) £550.00, Medic Box £600, Inflatable barricade £210.00, Electric pump £35.00, DVD £5.00
  14. Equipment Problems: Should any Equipment develop a problem, or should the equipment not function correctly at any time, the Hirer agrees to immediately cease use of the Equipment in question. If a problem develops and the Hirer does not understand the operating instructions, they will cease use of all equipment, and will not allow anyone else to continue use the Equipment until the problem is solved.   15. Specific Safety Rules: The following rules and warnings must be obeyed in the use of the Equipment at all times. 
    ! a. All safety and operating rules must be complied with at all times.
    ! b. For the safety of any children participating in the use of the Equipment, ADULT supervision is required at all times.
    ! c. Upon setting up an area to allow participants use of the Equipment, check the area for tripping hazards and slippery conditions. Remove all waste and or builders rubble and ensure the area is free of any potential item that can cause injury or any risk of injury to the participants.
    d. Do not use the Equipment in or near any body of water. The Equipment CANNOT be submersed in water.
    Body contact can cause serious injury and should be avoided at all times.  The supervisor should ensure that participants refrain from running through doorways or around corners to avoid risk of collisions between the participants. Laser Tag is a high intensity activity, the supervisor should ensure that participants takes breaks and avoid dehydration. Inflatable objects are NOT to be jumped on, they are not a jumping castle.  Jumping on an inflatable can lead to serious injury and will destroy the inflatable object requiring the owner to pay the full replacement cost. When not in use, the phasers and inflatable objects must be securely stored.
  16. Limited Warranty: Laser Tag In A Box Ltd warrants the Equipment hired under this Agreement will be in good working order when delivered under this Agreement. All the Equipment is supplied and maintained solely under this warranty. The Owner’s sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the Equipment, when the Owner determines that it does not conform to this warranty. The Owners make no warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular use or purpose, either expressed or implied. There is no warranty or representation that the Equipment is fit for the Hirer's particular intended use, or that it is free from latent defects. The Owners shall not be responsible to the Hirer or to any third party for any loss, damage or injury resulting from, or in any way attributable to the operation, installation of, use of, or any failure of the hired Equipment. The Owners shall not be responsible for any defect or any failure unknown to them at the time of delivery.
  17. Cancellation Policy: The Hirer will receive a full refund of all monies paid upon receipt of written cancellation notice, giving at least 28 days prior notice to the delivery date as outlined on your conformation of booking. If the Hirer cancels giving between 14 days and 28 days’ notice days prior to the delivery time/date specified on the confirmation of booking , Laser Tag In A Box Ltd will not be obligated to refund any monies paid but will enable the Hirer to apply this to a future hire period within a 12 month period.  If the hirer cancels the booking giving 14 days’ notice or less, prior to the delivery time/date specified on the confirmation of booking, Laser Tag In A Box Ltd will be unable to offer any transfer of hire to another time or refund of any kind.
  18. Liability Release and Assumption of Risk: Please note that there are inherent risks involved in outdoor or adventurous activities such as those which present themselves whilst playing with Laser Tag In A Box equipment. The hirer personally and voluntarily assumes the risks of any harm, trauma, injury or damage that may occur to any person or property whether foreseen or unforeseen in connection with the activity. As the hirer of the equipment the undersigned is/are responsible for the conscientious use of the equipment and shall be responsible for any loss or damage to the equipment. Laser Tag In A Box cannot and will not be held liable for any public liability when not directly supervising the event.  Laser Tag in a Box recommends reading the How to guide for safety tips and supervising the sessions at all times. By accepting these terms and conditions you acknowledge that you personally and voluntarily assume the risks of any harm, trauma, injury or damage that I may suffer to my person, and others participating, or my property whether foreseen or unforeseen in connection with the activities. As you are hiring the equipment you are responsible for the conscientious use of the equipment. You are responsible for any loss or damage of the equipment.
  19. Troubleshooting
    The Standard software settings are designed for Birthday Parties, Vacation Care/ Youth Group Activities etc. The standard settings blocks access to team and games settings, changing these setting can result in phasers not tagging each other. Laser Tag in a Box recommends using the standard software settings. For those who choose the complex settings we recommend that you fully read the user guide and contact us on 01865 407316. Laser Tag in box takes no responsibility for equipment failing due to user error caused by miss use of the advanced settings 
  20. Requesting your equipment hire to be delivered to or/and collected from a work or business address that is different to your verified cardholders booking address or the address verified on paypal for delivery at the time of booking.
    Most hire companies, for security and fraud prevention aren't able to change the address your order is being sent.  The address your order is sent to must match the verified cardholders address on the booking or the address verified on paypal at the time of booking and as detailed on your reciept.
    As per our booking terms and conditions, We can only deliver your hire to the cardholders registered address which is verified on purchase or the address as detailed on paypal when you book with us unless we have carried out additional security checks and have confirmation of the details below in writing.
    If you want to change this address to a work address or an alternative business address such as a activity centre, then additional ID verification and security checks must be carried out in order for this to happen.
    The following would need to be provided for any changes to the delivery or collection address to a work or business address for the equipment hire;
    1. Your booking reference number
    2. A form of Photo ID for you scanned in and sent via email.
    3. An email from you confirming the requested changes with details of the new address and confirmation you are taking responsibility of the equipment in the event of loss or damage whilst at this new requested address to the value of the goods as detailed in these terms and conditions.
    4. If your requesting this to be delivered to a business address, you will need to provide either a copy of the booking confirmation which shows you have a booking at that location and that you are associated with the booking in some way will be required or if it is a work address, a recent payslip showing you work at that location and the email must be sent from your work email.
    5. Confirmation that the new address are aware they are taking responsibility of the delivery or collection of your goods and confirming they have a fully manned reception during the delivery hours of 8am and 6pm to accept delivery or sign back the collected goods. You will also need to confirm that they will keep the equipment safe and stored securely during the hire period.
    Once the above is provided then we will change the details on your order.
    Please note we do not send equipment out to unmanned receptions.  We also do not make changes to the address to a friends house.
  21. Compliance with Laws: The Hirer agrees not to use or allow anyone else to use the hired Equipment in any illegal manner or in an unsafe manner. The Hirer agrees at his/her/their sole cost and expense to comply with all municipal, parish, council, state, federal or other government or quasi government laws, ordinances, and/or regulations which may apply to the use of the hired Equipment during the Hire period. The Hirer further agrees to pay all licences, fines, fees, permits, or taxes arising from the Hirer's use of the Equipment, including any subsequently determined to be due. The Hirer is solely responsible for obtaining all permits and/or licences from the appropriate government agencies to use.
  22. Legal Fees: In the event that an attorney is retained to enforce any provision of the Agreement, the prevailing party (the Owners) shall be entitled to recover the attorney’s fees and court costs in such action or proceeding, in an amount to be determined by the court or arbitrator.
  23. Customer (Hirer) Acknowledgement: The Hirer acknowledges and certifies that they have had a sufficient opportunity to read this entire Agreement online before booking, and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions on all pages and that they understand it's content and that they execute it freely, intelligently and without duress of any kind.
  24. Severability: If any of the terms or conditions of this Agreement are found to be unenforceable, illegal or unconscionable by a court or competent jurisdiction, such item shall be stricken from this Agreement, and the remaining Terms and Conditions of this Agreement shall stay in force and effect.
  25. Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the full agreement between Laser Tag In A Box Ltd and the Customer (Hirer). Any prior agreements, whether written or oral, promises, negotiations or representations not expressly set forth herein shall be of no force or effect.
